CE Session - Transforming Workforce Wellness – A Strategic Approach

Dr. Smith will share proven strategies she has implemented to redesign care models, embed wellness into leadership practice, and strengthen team resilience. Grounded in the MAGIC Model, Wellness-Centered Leadership, and national healthy work environment standards, this session equips nurse leaders with actionable tools to drive sustainable culture change.

• Analyze the organizational and financial impact of nurse burnout and disengagement using current evidence and performance data.
• Apply the MAGIC Model of Engagement and healthy work environment standards to identify and address root causes of burnout.
• Conduct a SOAR analysis to clarify strengths, aspirations, and result-driven strategies for enhancing team wellness and engagement.
• Design a 30-day leadership action plan that aligns with their organizational vision and promotes sustained cultural transformation.

Continuing Education (CE) credit is awarded only to licensed nurses in good standing who are current NWONL members and who complete the CE-on-Demand activity in full. Completion includes reviewing the session content in its entirety, completing the post-session evaluation, and providing accurate identifying information (full name, RN license number, and state of licensure). CE credit cannot be issued if any required information is missing or inaccurate.
